Why Give?
Giving to the church is an act of worship. The Bible tells us that "everything we have comes from You (God), and we give You only what You first gave us” (1 Chronicles 29:14, NLT). Returning a portion of the finances He has blessed us with honors Him and enables His kingdom to expand. It’s important that we give as an act of love and gratitude towards God, not because man has said to do it. The apostle Paul wrote, “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully” (2 Corinthians 9:7, NLT).
God doesn't need our money, He wants our trust! And trusting him with our finanaces is a great way to establish dependence on Him alone.
At Awestruck our heart and passion is to meet the needs presented to us by the community. Many times when outreach is needed, we are able to step up and help in whatever way is necessary. It is only by your continual prayers and giving that we are able to continue to reach people in our community and see their lives changed by the various ministries offered at Awestruck.
